The Gunners have been hit by a blow as their star striker, Alexandre Lacazette, has been ruled out for three weeks with a knee injury. The Frenchman had been on the brink of returning to action after his return from injury last month but now he is out for at least the next two months.
Lacazette's absence will be devastating for the Gunners and it will mean that they will need to rely on new signings like Ousmane Dembélé and Christian Pulisic in order to fill the void. However, despite the setback, the club remains confident that they can overcome it and get back into the fight for the Premier League title.
While the news of Lacazette's injury was certainly a blow, there were also plenty of positives surrounding the squad. Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger said: "We're very disappointed about this injury but we're going to keep fighting."
He added: "It's not something we want to do but I'm really pleased that he won't be out for long and that we can continue with the players who are available."
The situation is certainly concerning for the Gunners, but there is still hope that they can find a way to bounce back and compete at the top of the table once again. With the right approach and support from the coaching staff, the club should be able to recover quickly and emerge victorious once again.
